Dragon Sweater and Spinning limited is one of the largest integrated sweater and spinning  project in South Asia . The company has huge goodwill and enjoys tremendous market share around the world for its sweater products and yarns around the world . DSSL is one of the flagship company of Bangladesh's DRAGON GROUP which is the Pioneer of Bangladesh¹s Sweater Industry. The group played a pioneering role in the sweater industry of Bangladesh by starting the first sweater project in Bangladesh in the early 80's with technical collaboration from Hong Kong and China. Since than the group has implanted the seeds for the development of the sweater industry in Bangladesh. Today Bangladesh exports over $ 1.5 Billion US Dollars of sweaters and the country employes nearly a million people in the sweater industry .

Dragon Group has expanded and has grown over the time and in the last 30 years the group has invested heavily in the backward linkage sector to reduce costs and delivery time of sweaters from Bangladesh. Today the group consumes its own yarns and produces and exports ready made sweaters from them.  Every year demand for yarns and Bangladesh produced sweaters are growing at an exponential way and therefore increase in capacity and production base is mandatory to manage the ever rising export demand effectively and on time both from our own growth and also to meet the rising demand of the export oriented sweater industries .

In order to remain the market leader in sweater export the group plans to increase spinning and sweater manufacturing capacities by installing new improved efficient machineries from European and Japanese origin. Since the yarns produced from own source helps the group to cut costs down considerably and helps to achieve maximum level of cost reduction and achieve maximum profits therefore the company intends to retain its position in Bangladesh as the top sweater exporter and intends to become one of the largest sweater producer and exporter in Asia . With this vision in target the company plans to raise capital to expand its installed capacities.
